Global music industry marketplace ANALOGr is supervising the online auction of rare gear from the collection of top musician/engineer/producers Butch Vig and Billy Bush from their personal collections, including gear from Vig's iconic Smart Studios.
"When I heard how well Analogr handled the Al Schmitt estate," Billy Bush explained, "I was confident that our gear would go into good hands. These are unique and valuable historical tools." Vig adds, "We're glad to put some of our gear out on the market, and let other people enjoy and love it the way we have."

From the collection of Billy Bush, this is a unique Greg Hanks Design BA-660 Tube Mic Pre/Limiter. Billy acquired this from Eddie Van Halen's 5150 Studios when Eddie was selling some gear and is the only 660 that was modified by Hanks with a DI so that Eddie could play directly into it. Bush explains, "This beast is a groundbreaking piece of gear: the highest headroom of any mic-pre and the only one on the planet with DI."
