Eric Bellinger
Los Angeles Native, Eric Bellinger is an exceptionally gifted singer and songwriter. Early in his music career, Bellinger was signed to Epic Records as a member of R&B group ANKU. ANKU was short lived, but Bellinger continued on, further exploring his passion for songwriting. With the encouragement of childhood friend and mentor Erika Nuri of the Writing Camp, Eric has ascended as one of today’s hitmakers. Eric has since scribed numerous noteworthy hits including Usher’s “What Happened to You”, “Lemme See” feat Rick Ross and “I Care for You” as well as Justin Bieber’s “Right Here” feat Drake prod by Hit-Boy and “Without You” for Brandy. Eric is consistently in the studio penning hits and is currently enjoying songwriting success with the new release of Chris Brown’s “Fine China.”
Joi StaRR
JoiStaRR is one of the most original and promising artists to emerge on the contemporary R&B scene. After touring with Kanye West for over five years and working with Jay-Z, Dr. Dre and Rick Ross, Grammy nominated singer-songwriter; JoiStaRR is ready to break through as a solo artist. She is definitely an artist to watch in 2013. Known for her powerful vocals and writing abilities, this one time Biology major has also penned records performed by some of today’s top artists including Brandy, Estelle, Chris Brown, Musiq Soulchild and Mary Mary. Signed to Warryn Campbell's "My Block Inc.", JoiStaRR is currently gearing up for the release of her new visual and audio EP “Art & Beat”, followed by her untitled debut album later this year. Within “Art & Beat”, JoiStaRR allows herself to be vulnerable by opening up to fans and music lovers and touching on topics of self-discovery, growth, heartbreak, and her addiction to music and love. JoiStaRR’s fresh fusion of R&B, Gospel, Electronic and World Music gives her a broad canvas to paint a colorful array of rhythms and beats blended with lyrical impact, which she coins "Art & Beat."
Vali Porter
Vali’s introduction into the music world started out as a backup dancer for the artist Nitty and followed as an early act signed to Benjy Grinberg's Rostrum Records, also home of Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller. The spunky vocalist, who has been writing and recording since high school eventually tapped into a collaboration with a then up-and-coming Wiz Khalifa to help craft "Sometimes" and "I Chose You," two tracks on the "Black and Yellow" MC's 2006 indie album, Show and Prove. She recently released EP “Kiss the Sky” which is a handful of cleverly written love odes surrounded by playful and catchy tunes topped with flirty contagious lyrics, hooks and melodies.
Lorine Chia
A mixture of alternative, acid Jazz and futuristic R&B, Lorine Chia officially began her journey into music as a 15-year-old writing and recording songs on her home video camera and uploading the clips to her Facebook page. Upon graduating from high school in 2011, Lorine took the traditional college route but her heart wasn’t in it. Instead, she worked on her music, recording her album “Lorine,” which was released on Thanksgiving 2012. The album was received extremely well, being featured on several sites such as Complex, Concrete Loop, and Life and Times, as well as being hand-picked for a compilation created by Mercedes Benz.
