BMI’s Latin songwriters, composers, and producers will be highlighted in this inaugural edition of the Latin Spotlight to help get to know some of them.
Experience Colombia’s Pacific Coast trio ChocQuibTown, the youthful and unique Young Miko, and the Venezuelan-born Reggi El Auténtico, who has written songs for artists like Nicky Jam, Ozuna, and Jennifer Lopez. The artistic collective Rawayana is up next, followed by hitmaker extraordinaire Randy Class and the wonderment of Le Coco Ramos. Trap king Lil Geniuz is next on our list of features, followed by the genre-spanning Mando, multi-instrumentalist Amanda Coronel, and the regional Mexican sensation, Rubén Salazar. Rounding out the incredible list are the Latin GRAMMY-nominated José Esparza and the multi-hyphenate DJ, producer, and label head, Caleb Calloway.
