Broadcast Music, Inc. ® (BMI®), a leader in music rights management, will celebrate the 10th Anniversary of "How I Wrote That Song," Saturday, Feb. 11, at 1 Oak Los Angeles (9039 W. Sunset Blvd.). Moderated by BMI Vice President, writer/publisher relations Catherine Brewton, the annual pre-Grammy event will feature rap artist Fat Joe, multi-hyphenate talent DJ Khaled, Grammy Award-winning music producer Alex da Kid, country songwriting artist Dallas Davidson and singer-songwriter Lauren Christy. Beginning at 4 p.m., audience members will get the chance to listen as the panelists discuss everything from their creative process to the inspiration behind some of their biggest hits and more. Special guest Mannie Fresh will be on hand to DJ the event.

For 10 years BMI's "How I Wrote That Song" has provided aspiring songwriters with the opportunity to learn about the art of songwriting, producing and performing straight from the industry’s Grammy-nominated and award-winning artists. Previous participants have included Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Nas, will.i.am, RedOne, Zac Brown, Cee Lo Green, B.o.B, Kara DioGuardi, Seal, Luke Laird, Claude Kelly, John Legend, Wiz Khalifa, Charlie Wilson, Common, Colbie Caillat, Linda Perry, Salaam Remi, Rev Run, RZA, the Madden Brothers and more.
