BMG has appointed Peter Stack as
Executive Vice President Global Catalogue
Recordings. Reporting to CEO Hartwig
Masuch and based in London, Stack will
also be responsible for targeting further
catalogue acquisitions and licences, as
well as running the catalogue business
across BMG’s international network. Stack
will now take on responsibility for catalogs including Sanctuary Records, SPV, Mute Records, Skint/Loaded, Avenue, Dreyfus, Chrysalis/Echo and such specialist labels as Trojan (ska and reggae), Transatlantic (folk), Strictly Rhythm (dance) and Noise (thrash and speed metal).
