Musician website platform Bandzoogle announced that they have added commission-free live stream tickets sales to their ecommerce tools.
Musicians on Bandzoogle’s Pro Plan have been able to sell tickets to shows directly to their fans since 2015. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bandzoogle members on all plans will be able to sell tickets commission-free through their website during the pandemic.
The added functionality for ticket sales allows musicians to include a live stream link and password to be sent automatically to the fan once a ticket is sold. All transactions are commission-free, and payments go directly to the artist.
“It’s a daunting time for musicians right now in the face of cancelled gigs and tours,” says CEO Stacey Bedford. “By providing commission-free ticket sales to live stream shows to all of our members, we hope that it helps them continue to connect with their fans, and work on making a living from their music.”
Now in its 17th year of operations, Bandzoogle powers over 50,000 websites for musicians, who have sold more than $60 million in music, merch and tickets through the platform.
