The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) has opened submissions for bands to perform in 2017 at The NAMM Show, which will be taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center from Jan. 19 – 22.
Submission guidelines:
• Commercial members submitting an artist must be exhibiting at The 2017 NAMM Show
• One band submission per user account may be entered on this site
• Performance time and location preferences are accepted but not guaranteed
• Committee will chose and schedule artist performance at its own discretion
• Acceptance confirmations will be sent via email by Oct. 21
• Accepting MP3 files (three songs max), YouTube and web links
• Performances only, product demos are not permitted.
Performance guidelines:
• 40-minute set times at the top of each hour
• 20-minute turns required
• CenterStage performances are weather permitting. Inclement weather could result in cancellation without rescheduled performances
• Grand Plaza performances are rain or shine
• Stage, sound and lighting provided by NAMM
• Backline provided. Specific equipment detail TBD
• NAMM will provide the following instruments and equipment: Bass rigs, Guitar amplifiers, Drum kit, Percussion set, Keyboards with stands, pedals and amplifiers

NAMM will open band submissions on Aug. 1 and close on Sept. 12. All applicants will be notified by late October if they have been selected.
The music begins at The NAMM Show, including a platform for artists of all ages and styles to showcase their talents to the global MI industry.
On the expansive NAMM Campus, five stages spotlight music every genre on the hour. Over the course of the four-day show Jan. 19 - 22, an international audience will be be treated to more than 150 live performances.

When the band submissions portal is open, NAMM will ask for the following information:
• Band name
• Genre
• Band contact information
• Band bio
• Music samples
• Links to social media posts
• Video
• Times you are available
Backline will be provided, but NAMM does not cover performance, travel or accommodations costs for Bands at NAMM.
