Win Mastering Services from the Bakery in This Week’s Friday Freebie!
For the next Friday Freebie, Music Connection is teaming up with the Bakery to offer audio mastering services for a 4-track EP and a 12" LP disc of your EP.
Located in the heart of Sony Pictures Studios, The Bakery offers a complete range of state-of-the-art mastering services for a wide range of clientele. The facility consists of a mastering room and a dedicated editing/production suite, which includes such components as ATC 150 speakers, a Manley Massive Passive EQ, line amps made by Josh Florian and JCF Audio to spec, a meticulously restored digital vinyl cutting lathe previously owned by pioneering mastering engineer Stan Ricker, and much more.
Founder and mastering engineer Eric Boulanger, also a professional studio violinist, works alongside Jett Galindo, a young mastering engineer who has been with The Bakery since its inception. Both Boulanger and Galindo mentored under mastering legend Doug Sax and carry on his legacy in the industry.
Working behind the console, Boulanger and/or Galindo have mastered acclaimed projects for the likes of Green Day, Hozier, Selena Gomez, Colbie Caillat, OneRepublic, Eric Burdon, Imagine Dragons, Neil Young, Plain White T’s, Chris Botti, Amos Lee, Serena Ryder, the Doors, Olivia Newton-John, Rufus Wainwright, Sarah Jarosz, and the score and soundtrack for La La Land, among others. Several of the team’s projects have been nominated for and/or won Grammy® Awards.
