Dates January 18-21rst. Westin New York at Times Square New York City
For the first time, Chamber Music America’s national conference spans four days—a multifaceted symposium of music, dialogue, and discovery. Join us each day to explore the issues facing our community and take part in captivating discussions, concerts, and celebrations honoring achievements in our field.
- On Day 1, Thursday, January 18, CMA partners with colleagues of American Composers Forum to amplify the impact of working with living creators. The day culminates with a celebratory concert and a joyous opening-night reception.
- With music-making at the heart of our collective missions, nightly concerts and a quiet listening lounge augment traditional offerings. Showcasing ensembles take centerstage Friday and Saturday, while Saturday evening features a reunion of the preeminent Cleveland Quartet and several star-studded tributes honoring the ensemble's legacy.
- More than 14 panel sessions Thursday, Friday, and Saturday mine a spectrum of perspectives across a range of topics, from gender equity and fundraising to programming, creative placemaking, and interdisciplinary work.
- Sunday culminates with the Chamber Music America Awards brunch, recognizing eight outstanding artists and their works.
