The California World Guitar Show double header returns in January to two West Coast locations! These events are the smoothest running shows in the nation. The annual Bay Area World Guitar Show will convene at Marin Civic Exhibit Hall on January 14-15, 2023, in San Rafael (a few miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge just off Highway 101, at 10 Avenue of the Flags). The Exhibit Hall is a cozy 23,000 square foot venue with great vibes. Due to venue upgrades, this is the first Bay Area show since January 2020. Several new exhibitors have signed on for the upcoming show, so expect a good group of buyers. Many industry people continue to report value increases on vintage guitars and amps.
Two weekends later, on January 28-29, 2023, the SoCal World Guitar Show comes to life at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa (Orange County). This venue continues to be one of the best locations and is only a few short miles from the beach. Lots of foreign buyers, professional musicians, regional store owners and celebrities have shown up at this event over the years, and they do spend money. Several of the best-attended shows have been in Orange County, and this is the largest West Coast event. The upcoming show will again be held in the fabulous state-of-the-art Hangar Building.
Bring all the musical items you can carry to sell or trade. You may even bring a small cart with up to 8 items to roll around the show.
