The Atlanta Dream have announced a new songwriting contest designed to inspire artists to create and express the concept of the “Atlanta Dream.”
Musicians of all genres are invited to perform a hype song expressing their interpretation of the terms “Atlanta Dream” or “Dream On.”
“Music is a huge part of Atlanta’s culture, and we want to connect with our city by showcasing just some of the talent that makes this place so special,” Dream president and general manager Chris Sienko said.
To officially enter the contest, artists should add a video of the song to YouTube and submit the link to dream.wnba.com/dream-theme-submission.
Promote your song using #ATLDreamTheme on social media.
The first round of judging will be based on YouTube video likes. The Dream will be promoting all qualifying submissions on the team’s website and on social media, encouraging fans to like their favorite songs. Atlanta Dream players will have the power to advance a song of their choosing to the next round. The winner will be chosen by the players from the finalists.
