Anime Expo 2020 is looking to feature well-known professional talent, as well as provide a spotlight to undiscovered acts.
Local, indie, as well as up-and-coming talent interested in performing at Anime Expo, can submit an application for consideration.
Please fill out the application form. All Performers selected for Anime Expo 2020 will be notified via email by Jan. 17, 2020. If you have not been provided an official invitation email by that date, then you have not been selected.
The 2020 expo will run from July 2 -5, 2020 in Downtown Los Angeles.
The Performer Application will close promptly on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020 at 11:59 PM.
Note that applying performance acts must be inspired by or have content pertaining to anime, manga, or Japanese pop-culture. Additionally, there will be an age restriction of 18 years or 21 years of age by March 1, 2020—this age restriction is dependent on the performance venue. Below is a short breakdown of what is currently being sought out for AX 2020.
- AX Dance (18 years or older) - DJs and VJs.
- After Hours (21 years or older) - Burlesque dancers, aerialists, drag queens, magicians, or other creative acts.
- Lounge 21 (21 years or older) - Musicians, singers, cover bands, or other creative musical acts.
- Community Stage (18 years or older) - Dancers, singers, combat demonstrations, magicians, or other creative performance acts.
