Outpost in the Burbs, a music venue in Montclair, NJ, has joined the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA), a group of more than 1200 independent music venues and promoters in all 50 states.
NIVA is seeking legislative and regulatory assistance at this difficult time for independent venues, which were the first to close and may be the last to open. One of NIVA’s goals is to seek national guidelines so that gatherings can occur in a safe manner.
