All-trans rock band FOXCULT has announced that they have signed to Adventure Cat Records. The band has today released their label debut “GLACIER”, streaming now here: onerpm.link/glacier. Fans can also watch a brand new music video for the track here: youtu.be/iNlzvmEFBbc.
“Most labels nowadays like to drive bands into certain directions but at Adventure Cat we are allowed to be us, unapologetically,” the band shares. “We are openly trans & fiercely queer and our music is representative of that. We have a story that we want to tell, to an amazing & diverse group of people who are often underrepresented and Adventure Cat allows us the freedom to do just that.”
“GLACIER” serves as a follow up to previous singles “The Garden” and “Haunted”. The self-produced track was mixed by Sam Guaiana (Silverstein, Like Pacific, Young Culture, Between You & Me) and mastered by Mike Kalajian (Armor For Sleep, Papa Roach, Drug Church, Hopesfall). It pulls inspiration from post-hardcore, shoegaze and melodic hardcore to create lush textures and dynamic vocals while delivering intriguing storytelling.
FOXCULT brings together a seasoned group of trans musicians to deliver a blend of powerful and contemplative post-hardcore with the crushing dense soundscapes of shoegaze.
