Best known for his work with Blur and Gorillaz, the multitalented Brit altered his approach toward these compositions as a reaction to the pandemic. The result is 11 slabs of murky beauty that perfectly express humanity’s terrifying fragility. More performance art than rock, this is the sort of soundscape that requires opening one’s third eye to properly appreciate.
