A British keyboardist/composer/producer; Croft has gathered some of the finest contemporary jazz, rock and fusion players for a sort of old school prog rock extravaganza. If you’re a fan of Dream Theater, David Sancious, Spocks Beard and the like this needs to be on your radar.
Leaning on the rock side, “The Age of Magrathea” and the title track hit you with a no holds barred assault. Jazzers like “You Made Me Miss,” with guest guitarist Mike Stern, are beautifully constructed and tastefully sublime.
