Bristol, U.K.-based trio Minor Conflict blend post-punk with experimental folk on their EP Parallels. The group is made up of Natalie Whiteland (harp/vocals), Josh Smyth (bass), and Robbie Warin (trumpet/percussion). “Glue” is a standout single, moving from brooding minimalism to chaos, tackling environmental inaction. Opener “Cube” features ethereal horn harmonies.
The three-part song cycle “Parallels I, II, & III” weaves together drone, psych-rock, and brass, boasting a creative freedom and unique sound.
