Kicking off their comeback EP by way of a title track custom-built for radio, HCR sounds like a hip-hop Bee Gees. While the disc's other four bangers are similarly mainstream, Tangerine's compositional depth leaves most of its poppy peers eating dust. Capping this puckish collection is "I Hate LA," a snappy single that racked up more than half a million streams in its first month alone. Guaranteed, this one will leave ears wagging.
