Adult contemporary/AAA artists with male or female vocals are needed by a Los Angeles-based independent record label that’s currently looking for new artists to sign.
They’re searching for mid-to-up-tempo songs that would fit well on a playlist with artists like (but not limited to) Death Cab for Cutie, Wilco, Lana Del Rey, Grace Potter:

Your songs must sound modern and radio-ready, both structurally and lyrically. This label likes songs recorded well enough to release as is or with minimal re-mixing.
Please submit well-crafted A/C or AAA (adult album alternative) songs that highlight your ability to captivate an audience musically, vocally, and lyrically. Your melodies should be immediately memorable, your productions should be solid, and your choruses should scream “radio hits!” Be sure to have polished vocal performances that are expressive enough to be on par with the vibe of the references.
This label has specifically asked to hear at least 2 Songs so they can see if you’ve got depth in your material.
The label is interested in artists and bands that have gained some traction from actively working on their careers. Please detail (in your bio) any impressive touring, fan base, sales, streaming, or social media figures. If you’re a new artist or band just starting out and don’t have much of a story or track record, but you do have an amazing sound and some killer songs to back it up, they still want to hear you.
Please submit at least 2 songs, online or per CD, and please include lyrics, photos, and a bio. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis by a TAXI A&R team member who has a strong relationship with the company—no full critiques.
