ADAM Audio has announced a series of free online sessions designed for all female musicians and producers looking to take their musical creativity and career to the next level.
ADAM Audio presents Women In Music: Start To Finish in association with B-Side Project and MusicTech”, sponsored by MusicTech magazine and the B-Side Project, is a six-part live stream series that will consist of interactive workshops and panel discussions, covering the complete process of creating a music track through to releasing it.
The webinar series will play host to a special roster of female industry professionals, who will provide insights into how to get the most out of your musical ideas, what it takes to finish your track, and best practices to release your song.
Attendance online is free and the sessions will be streamed live on the ADAM Audio Facebook page and YouTube every Thursday at 6:00 PM BST (12:00 PM CST), starting on August 13:
August 13 – Creating Your Track (workshop/demo)
Songwriters Sarah Spencer and Anna Lakatos will demonstrate some fast tips on how to level up your songwriting, put your best foot forward in meetings and collaborations, how to get comfortable in the writing room (co-writing or solo), and generate more opportunities for your songs to be heard.
August 20 – Mixing Your Track (workshop/demo)
The second session will see Berlin based Australian record producer, studio engineer, musician and sound artist Jane Arnison host a mixing workshop and Q&A.
August 27 – Mastering Your Track (in conversation)
Session three will be all about Mastering, and will be taught by the fantastic Katie Tavini.
September 3 – A&R and Management (panel)
Session four will welcome an array of music business executives — including Kat Kennedy (Big Life Management), Erin Anderson (CEO of Olivia Management), Celina Rollon (Director at Rollon Entertainment), Cathy Mathalone (Conchord Management) and Ronnie Tee (Various Artists Management) — who will discuss how to curate and manage exciting branded music projects.
September 10 – Marketing & Social Media (panel)
In part five, a super panel of music business executives and artists consisting of Estelle Rubio (musician and producer), Stef Pascual (Director at High Fives Digital), Alice McLean (Comes With Fries) and Trisha O'Brien (producer and DJ), will discuss aspects of marketing, branding, and social media.
September 17 – Navigating the music industry as a female (live interview panel)
The final session will welcome some very special guests including Emmy Award winning musical composing duo Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman, as well as incredible singer- songwriter Lachi and talented live show designer Laura Escudé.
