Interscope Records Signs South Carolina Rapper Blacc Zacc

Interscope Records and South Coast Music Group have announced the signing of South Carolina rapper Blacc Zacc, one of the latest artists to emerge from the Carolinas hip-hop scene.

Blacc Zacc has signed to Interscope through a joint venture with South Coast Music Group—the label behind rapper DaBaby. Founded by CEO Arnold Taylor and co-founder and VP Daud “King” Carter, South Coast Music Group has put out several projects from Blacc Zacc. Those projects include his recent release Trappin Like Zacc, a 13-track mixtape featuring guest spots from DaBaby, Stunna 4 Vegas, LightSkinKeisha, and Key Glock.

Today also marked the release of “Chump Change.” Watch “Chump Change” HERE.

Born Zachary Chapman in Columbia, South Carolina, Blacc Zacc began rapping at the age of 13, drawing inspiration from Southern hip-hop legends like Yo Gotti and Gucci Mane.

In 2010 he delivered his debut mixtape 1st Round Draft Pick, and soon gained attention for a hard-hitting sound deeply rooted in the dirty south. With over a half-dozen mixtapes now under his belt, Blacc Zacc mixes heavy beats with lyrical street tales. “I have my own sound and story,” he says, “and I'm speaking from life experiences.” Also a rising entrepreneur, Blacc Zacc serves as founder and CEO of Dirty Money Entertainment.
