The METAlliance founders will gather this year for a summit with attendees at the AES Convention. "METAlliance - The Mission" one-hour special event takes place on Friday, October 19 from 5:15 - 6:15 pm in Workshop Room SE13.
At the AES summit, founders Chuck Ainlay, Ed Cherney, Frank Filipetti, George Massenburg, Elliot Scheiner and Al Schmitt will discuss the state of the recording industry today. The mission of the METAlliance (a group of globally recognized and award-winning engineers) is to promote standards of quality in the art and science of recording music. The panel will discuss their ongoing efforts and provide examples of their efforts and contributions to current and future professionals who aspire to carry forth the craftsmanship music deserves.
AES attendees are encouraged to visit the Workshop Room to learn more about the METAlliance and to interact with the founders in a lively public forum.
