The New York Coffee Festival is seeking up-and-coming artists who believe they have what it takes to write and perform a winning song for the Coffee Music Project 2018 competition.
Unlike TV singing competitions, the Coffee Music Project's panel of judges is composed of a wide variety of music professionals from all areas of the industry. Embracing the Project's core mission, the competition and prizes are designed to help kickstart a musical career. Applications are now open to all interested artists.
Thirty-six applicants will be selected to compete in the qualifying round in New York City October 7-9. From there, the top nine contestants will be invited to perform at the New York Coffee Festival on October 13 and 14 before they compete in the final round on October 16.
Winners will receive a cash prize of $1,500, $,1000 towards a trip to perform at the Los Angeles Coffee Festival, a free studio recording and more.
The top nine contestants will also receive one song featured on the Coffee Music Project 2018 album.
