Big Machine Records has added Josh Phillips to its artist lineup. The singer/songwriter, who is currently recording his debut album, offers a preview of his gritty, boisterous sound with Lee County EP (The Acoustic Sessions), available now: smarturl.it/JoshPhillipsEP.
Phillips officially joins the imprint’s talented roster which includes Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts, Jennifer Nettles, Cheap Trick, Midland, Carly Pearce, The Cadillac Three, Tucker Beathard, Lauren Jenkins and Alex Williams.
“From the moment I met Scott Borchetta and the team at Big Machine, it felt like home,” said Phillips. “Everybody comes to Nashville with a dream and it’s one that I would think of every time I played a little bar or club just grinding it out. Today, I get to live out that dream for me and my fans. I’m excited to share my music with the world!”
Introducing his music to Country music fans from coast to coast, the North Carolina native has performed alongside some of the genre’s top acts – Sam Hunt, Cole Swindell, Chris Janson, Tyler Farr and more. Phillips joins Luke Combs on his Don't Tempt Me With a Good Time Tour, which kicks off Oct. 3 at The Roxy in Los Angeles.
Phillips is managed by Make Wake Artist Management in Nashville.
