East coast based film production company is seeking instrumental music immediately for a feature documentary. The film delves into the lives of opiate addicts (those who are prescribed the drugs and those who are not) and the effects on users, their families and communities.
They are seeking dramatic music that is somewhat calm but still has an edgy aspect. Music must convey tension, concern, apprehension, worry, loneliness and feelings of defeat. Composers and musicians from all geographical areas will be considered.
Compensation: Negotiable (low budget); Additional composer fees may be negotiated in the event of a distribution deal or if other commercial opportunities are presented for the film as the film may be entered into the film festival circuit.
