Strange Music and Monster Energy have presented the "Tech N9ne's Warrior Built Emcee Contest." Open to all up-and-coming emcees, the contest provides one grand prize winner with this opportunity:
"We're giving you a chance to fly out to Kansas City, record a song with me and film a music video," Tech N9ne says. "All you got to do is go to strangemusicinc.net/warrior_built, download the song Tech N9ne 'P.T.S.D.' and submit your best verse over the open beat."
The version of Tech N9ne's "P.T.S.D." featuring the winner of "Tech N9ne's Warrior Built Emcee Contest" will be released as a single with 100 percent of the proceeds of the sale of the single going to the "Warrior Built" charitable organization. The foundation seeks to honor the service and sacrifice of combat veterans and wounded service members who served our country by providing vocational and recreational opportunities. The Warrior Built programs helps veterans build off-road vehicles, race cars, classic cars or motorcycles and to take them to dirt bike races, drag racing, off-road racing and other events.
Submissions for "Tech N9ne's Warrior Built Emcee Contest" will be accepted beginning Tuesday, Aug. 9. The contest closes at 11:59 pm PST on Tuesday, Sept. 6. The contest is open to all legal residents residing in the continental United States ages 18 and over as of Sept. 6. Limit one entry per person.
The winner will be contacted via either e-mail or phone on or before Tuesday, Sept. 20.
