In partnership with Alfred Music, an educational music publisher, Tonara, a music technology company, has introduced brand new content to its piano practicing app, Wolfie for iPad. The deal provides teachers and students with access to an expanded music learning catalog, which now includes Alfred’s Premier Piano Course and Alfred’s Basic Piano Library as well as world-renowned traditional and contemporary scores that have been adapted to every skill level in piano instruction.
Tonara’s Wolfie app for piano reproduces the familiar experience of paper sheet music on the iPad by using digitization technology to create interactive scores that students can play along to both in real-time and alongside computerized renditions of songs and pieces. With features such as the app’s built-in cursor, which highlights the student’s progress note-by-note, anyone can use Wolfie to learn how to better decipher music and develop sight reading skills and rhythm.

Tonara also released an update to its interactive piano practicing iPad app, Wolfie, introducing support for single-hand accompaniment in the app’s Enhanced Practice and Play Along modes, allowing students to practice or play with one hand while Wolfie plays the other. Through Tonara’s partnership with Alfred Music, Wolfie’s interactive sheet music catalog received an infusion of new material from Alfred’s Premier Piano Course. In time for the holidays, young pianists can now learn Christmas favorites such as Jingle Bells, Little Drummer Boy, Frosty the Snowman, Silent Night, Joy to the World and more.
