Faith No More's appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last week led to a surprise performance at Hollywood's historic rock n' roll club, The Troubadour, where the band indulged Los Angeles with a raw midnight session of post-punk.
Sol Invictus, their comeback album that was released in May 2015, was heavily featured. New song highlights include "Separation Anxiety," an alternative metal rock song with a melodic twist, and the gothic blues tune "Cone of Shame." L.A. fans carried a crowd surfing Mike Patton from the stage to the bar. Old tunes were blasted, sweat was shared and everyone who was in the room left with their endorphin levels kicking.
The band will hit Chicago's Riot Fest in mid-September before a quick tour in Latin America, where avid fans await. Faith No More will be bringing their madness to California's Monster Energy Aftershock festival in Sacramento on Oct. 25.
