Rockcomm London Summer Inaugural Event

Rockcomm London

Since its initial announcement late last year, Rockcomm London has gathered momentum with the event now extending itself across two full days on both June 8 and 9 in what the music industry now regards as “Rock Week.” The event’s organizer Seven Webster from 7pm Management said, "With so many great rock music based companies from across the world wanting to be involved in our inaugural event, it has made sense for us to extend the event into two full days and give everyone in attendance an even more rewarding overall experience as well as offering more opportunities and time to network, which is the conference's primary objective."

In addition to the original lineup of panelists and speakers Rockcomm has announced that digital music distribution company Believe Digital will be its headline sponsor. Oleg Bounetsky, Label Manager at Believe Digital, said, "We are thrilled to be supporting the first ever Rockcomm in the U.K. At Believe we have a growing roster of great rock labels and artists that we work with on a global level, and Rockcomm is a fantastic opportunity for us to build relationships in this area and further support the genre."

Rockcomm has also announced the addition of more panelists from the global world of rock and the addition of a special PR-focused panel on its launch day Monday, June 8, which will look at different ways to build and break rock acts via the media. The Panel will include professionals from a number of rock music’s respected PR companies.

The conference will be held at the Richmix Cultural Foundation. Rich Mix is located in the heart of Shoreditch and Bethnal Green Road, close to the city with excellent transport links, on the doorstep of Shoreditch High Street station. Rockcomm London will work to unite artists and companies from all sub genres, brands and sectors of the rock music community including labels, publishers, managers, distributors, digital aggregators, booking agents, festival promoters, media, merchandisers, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, PR companies, pluggers, radio stations and all other aspects of the rock music community.
