Three veterans of the music industry, Howard Rosen, Kate Taylor and Adam Stengel, have joined forces to create Song Placement International (SPI), a company that offers songwriters and artists opportunities to have their music licensed internationally for use in film, television, video games, and all forms of multimedia.
Howard Rosen has worked in the music industry since the seventies, with acts such as Prince, Van Halen, Fleetwood Mac, Lionel Richie, Rod Stewart and many others. He has held prominent positions at Warner/Reprise, Motown, A&M, Casablanca Records and Filmworks, Bearsville Records, and for the last twenty-eight years he has been the President and CEO of Howard Rosen Promotion Inc. with offices in California, New York and South Carolina. Kate Taylor is a Nashville-based music industry professional with years of performance and songwriting experience whose connections with music supervisors in the U.S. and abroad have allowed her to place hundreds of songs on television, film, video games and commercials. Adam Stengel is a singer-songwriter who has been practicing law in New York City since 1996, representing many artists, producers, engineers, filmmakers and entertainment-related businesses.
