New Jersey R&B songstress Honey Bxby has released new single and video "Right on Time," as she seeks to continue to rewrite the conventional R&B rules.
“'Right On Time' is a heartfelt ride through love and liberation," the press release states. Over a romantic, shape-shifting beat, Honey’s sultry, soulful vocals float effortlessly: 'Half of you, but wanting all of me / Boy, I just wish you would let me be / ’Cause Tyrone is outside and he’s calling me / And he’s right on time.' In other words, she’ll have another 'you' in a minute."
The song is gorgeous--elements of old school soul seamlessly blend with contemporary R&B. Meanwhile, the video takes us through that tale as Tyrone swoops in to steal Honey's sweet heart.
