Range Media Partners’ Range Music label, which is distributed through Capitol Music Group and Virgin Music & Artist Label Services, is thrilled to announce the signing of international star and Disney Channel alum Meg Donnelly. The artist is best known for acting in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and the hit original movie series Zombies, and eventually served as an Executive Producer on the latter.
This signing was led by Range Music partner Jared Cotter, who was recently named Billboard's Executive of the Week for his work co-managing 2024 breakout star Shaboozey, his co-writer Sean Cook and Paul Russell, who is responsible for viral hit "Lil Boo Thang."
Donnelly is hard at work on new music, and shares her latest single “by my heart” today. Marking her first release with Range Music, Donnelly begins a new chapter with this single as she focuses on her music, and passes the Disney’s franchise ‘Zombies’ torch onto the next generation after six fulfilling years with the series. In 2018, Donnelly was named Radio Disney’s NBT (Next Big Thing), putting her on the map internationally. She has since performed alongside artists such as The Jonas Brothers, Avril Lavigne, Alessia Cara, and most recently, opened for Doja Cat. Donnelly’s latest release, the single “title” with global charting producer Tenroc, laid the foundation for what fans can expect next in her career. In collaboration with creative director Max Pham, who has toured with and choreographed for A-list artists, Meg has been able to bring her passion for dance , music and her NYC roots to life.
A professional singer, songwriter, and actress since the age of 11, Meg is a natural-born performer, and she cannot wait for the world to experience her music in real time after seeing her on the screen for years. Donnelly’s other film, TV, and voice credits include The CW drama series The Winchesters, Warner Bros. Animation/DC’s Legion Of Super-Heroes, and ABC’s American Housewife.
When she isn't on set or in the studio, Donnelly is passionate about mental health awareness. As someone who has experienced anxiety from a young age, she’s partnered with various non-profit organizations and hospitals, including the Children’s Health Fund and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals as an Ambassador. By sharing her own experiences, tips and resources, she hopes that kids and young adults feel more supported in their journeys with mental health.
