Puerto Rican singer, songwriter and producer Ketsyha manages to blend nostalgia and freshness with the songs that she sent us, notably “Keys to My Heart.” That song carries us right back to the late ‘80s/early ‘90s period of pop-R&B—the sort of En Vogue and TLC-esque greatness that was all over the charts.
She has a strong, expressive voice that helps “Gaslighting” convey its vital, topical message. “This song is inspired by those toxic relationships one must get out of,” she says, and one could only hope that enough people pay attention. A tour with a big name, maybe an R&B package, would be appropriate for Ketsyha, in order to get in front of more eyes.
