THE CHURCH STUDIO ANNOUNCES NEW PROGRAMMING “IN SESSION” WITH SUPPORT FROM SHURE

The Church Studio introduces In Session, a breakthrough dynamic listening experience supported by Shure, the renowned audio technology leader.

In Session is a distinctive listening experience that will showcase the depth of audio technology, inviting music enthusiasts and audiophiles to immerse themselves in an unparalleled auditory journey. The inaugural In Session will be performed by Chris Combs and Friends, which includes Hank Early of Turnpike Troubadours and Dan Oestreicher of Trombone Shorty, on August 23rd. The performance will be a jazz-infused exploration that draws inspiration from psychedelic rock, R&B, soul, and hip-hop.

Thanks to the support of Shure, the In Session listening event will offer attendees a distinctive opportunity to experience the fidelity and authenticity of cutting-edge sound in the same manner as the engineers in the control room. The primary listening device for each guest will be the Shure SRH840A Professional Studio Headphones, which are preferred by studio professionals due to their exceptional sound quality for critical listening and studio monitoring. The Church Studios' meticulously curated high-fidelity ensures an unparalleled immersive experience. This exclusive listening engagement is limited to 50 guests.

As part of their support, Shure has generously donated sixty of these high-quality headphones. “The Church Studio is an iconic landmark in the history of recorded music. We’re glad to support The Studio’s In Session programming, celebrating the history of audio innovation along with today’s most accomplished musicians.” Brian Crowley, Director of Sales for Shure.

“We are incredibly grateful to Shure for their generous donation of sixty headphones to The Church Studio. Shure's long-standing commitment to supporting musicians and the recording industry aligns perfectly with our mission. Their high-quality equipment has been a cornerstone in studios worldwide, helping artists create and refine their sound. This donation will significantly enhance our capacity to provide exceptional recording experiences and enhance the In Session programming.” Teresa Knox, CEO of The Church Studio
