Works under the general direction of Sr. Music Director to develop workflows, systems and policy for music licensing, copyright management and administration. Supervises the Music Licensing Coordinator and Assistants workload, projects and workflow to develop efficiencies in personnel development, systems and staffing requirements of the music Administration workflow.
Works closely with ESPN Legal and outside licensing sources to establish best practices and workflows in accordance with copyright law and ESPN Policy. Advises the music staff of trends in the music licensing landscape that may affect ESPN's business. Ensures all ESPN content adheres to music policy and meets compliance standards under the direction of the Sr. Music Director.
Responsibilities: Primary responsibility is the direct oversight, evaluating performance and guiding the development of the Music Licensing Coordinators and Admin Assistants. Work in collaboration with the Senior Music Director in the development of Music licensing processes that align with ESPN Music Policy.
