Leading independent publishing company PRESCRIPTION SONGS and Day One Songs are excited to announce the recent partnership signing of Los Angeles-based artist-producer-songwriter Joseph Tilley. Brought into the Rx roster by Prescription Songs A&Rs Chris Martignago and Cameron Kooklanfar, Tilley’s signature sound combines dreamy synths, catchy pop melodies, and heartfelt R&B with deeply personal lyrics.
Drawing inspiration from a diverse array of artists, including The Dream, Justin Bieber, Dan + Shay, and Julia Michaels, the multifaceted artist, producer, and songwriter, crafts a unique blend of R&B and pop. He’s developed his distinctive style that’s resonated with a wide audience, amassing over 50 million streams across his artist project alone.
Originally from Central Arkansas and now based in Los Angeles, Joseph’s journey into the world of music began as he honed his skills playing drums in his high school band. His passion for music deepened as he taught himself guitar and piano, further enriched by his experiences performing in church.
In addition to his success as an artist, Joseph has also made his mark as a producer, contributing to the rise of indie pop sensation Emilee with his production on songs like “Heaven” and “I Love You Baby.” His ability to create compelling musical narratives and combined with well rounded production makes Joseph a rising talent in the music industry.
