British electronic duo Jungle played the KIA Forum September 7th in Inglewood, CA on their Volcano World Tour. This was a big change from their last L.A. area show at the Greek Theater in 2021. Last year, Jungle toured across the globe with dates in Europe, the U.K., and South America. Jungle was formed in 2013 by producers/multi-instrumentalists Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland. Their self-titled debut album came out in 2014. That same year they were playing on Jimmy Kimmel Live and the Glastonbury festival just a month before the album was released. The following year Jungle played the Boston Calling Music Festival and Bonnaroo. Their fourth album Volcano was released just last month. Up until 2021 Jungle had the same touring band. The tourins band now consists of drummer George Day and percussionist Dominic Walley (Since 2013), vocalist and multi instrumentalist Lydia Kitto and multi instrumentalist Geo Jordan (since 2021).
Jungle kicked off the show with “Us Against the World” and Erick The Architect came out for the second song “Candle Flame” which he sings on the new album. Channel Tres came out on the eighth song “I’ve Been in Love” which he sings on the new album. “GOOD TIMES,” was the last song before the five song encore of “Keep Moving,” “Fire,” “What D’You Know About Me,” “Time,” and “Busy Earnin’.” In total Jungle performed 25 songs. This isn’t your average electronic group as the live performances include real instruments and live vocals and is a one of a kind experience.
