AIMP ‘Fireside Chat’ with Legal Experts
The Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP) is presenting a ‘fireside chat’ with father and son legal experts, Jay and Todd Cooper on Thursday, July 21, 2022.
Jay Cooper is Founder of the Los Angeles Entertainment Practice, focusing on the music industry, movie, television, internet, multimedia and intellectual property issues and his son, Todd Cooper is with Greenberg Trauriq’s Entertainment Practice Group. Todd’s focus is on music, multimedia, and intellectual property. Their combined experience stems from representing clients in contract and intellectual property negotiations; artist, songwriter, producer, manager, publishing, songwriter and employment agreements; negotiations for recording and distribution; and complex acquisitions and sales of entertainment catalogs. Prior to becoming an attorney, Todd worked as a recording engineer for a major studio, and did road, production and personal management for various touring artists.
