The deadline to submit to the 2021 Berlin International Film Scoring Competition is Jan. 15, with finalists being announced in early February.
The BIFSC is open to composers of all ages and nationalities. Each composer will be sent a 5-minute video, in which they will be expected to create original music for, and will be judged by a panel of renowned film industry professionals. The panel will vote for up to 10 finalists and 3 winners.
The film to be scored will be sent to applicants as soon as they register, which can be done at bifsc.org.
