The “25th Annual KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas” took over Los Angeles Dec.13-14, finding its new home at the newly renovated Forum. With nine acts performing each of the two days, Angelinos were treated to an eclectic assault of music from one side of the world to the other.
Saturday night performances consisted of British Rock Duo Royal Blood, Dutch Pop Rockers New Politics, Ohio Electro-Riffers Walk The Moon, Chicago’s Rise Against, London Grungsters Bush, Ex-Illinois Scenesters Fall Out Boy, Calabasas’ own Incubus, Hometown Heroes Linkin Park and Glendale’s Pride and Joy System Of A Down.
Sunday included: Australian Singer-Songwriter Vance Joy, English Indie-Rockers Alt-J, New York Post-Punks Interpol, Washington’s Modest Mouse, Las Vegas Chart Climbers Imagine Dragons, English Classic New Wavers Tears For Fears, L.A.’s Weezer, Chicago Alternative Rockers Smashing Pumpkins and the band that put Anaheim on the map No Doubt.
