Rolling Stone and D'Addario are teaming up to find the next "Young Gun" guitarist.
One Prize Winner will receive the following package (the “Prize”):
- *Round-trip coach airfare for winner from the major airport nearest to winner's residence to Los Angeles, California.
- *Three nights hotel stay at the Ace Hotel Downtown LA.
- *Three days of studio time at Swinghouse LA to rehearse and record the music which was part of their Submission (“Winning Track”) (including bass & drum backline and musicians).
- *“Winning Track” mixed by Jay Ruston at TRS West.
- *“Winning Track” mastered by Brian Lucey at Magic Garden Mastering.
- *Opportunity to perform live at a Los Angeles club (venue to be determined by Sponsor and/or D’Addario).
- *Fully mastered “Winning Track” will be posted on rollingstone.com as part of the Rolling Stone Young Guns feature.
- *Additional coverage of “Winning Track” and Winner Profile on rollingstone.com, using video footage recorded in the studio and during trip.
- *A one year supply of D’Addario strings, with an Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of $500.
