Locksley, NFL, Campaign for Childhood Obesity
Indie rockers Locksley have been selected to participate in the ad campaign for the NFL Play 60 initiative, the National Football League’s campaign to encourage kids to be active for 60 minutes a day to help reduce the trend of childhood obesity. The 90-second advertisement, featuring the Detroit Loins, is set to Locksley’s hit single “The Whip.” On Dec. 15 they will also host a charity concert for New York City’s P.S. 142, a school that neighbors their long time practice space on the lower east side.
