Volunteers Needed For Banjo & Fiddle Contest
Southern California’s favorite old-time, folk and bluegrass music festival will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2011, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Paramount Movie Ranch in the Santa Monica Mountains Recreation Area, near Los Angeles. Over 100 contestants compete for prizes, plus performances by professionals including bluegrass and old-time bands, folksingers and other acoustic musicians. Volunteers get in free.
