Simpson Joins Homeless Activist Marching Across U.S.
Twelve-year-old Tampa, FL, resident Zach Bonner, recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award, will be joined by friends, family and local organizations as he finishes the final leg of his “March Across America.” Michael Guillen (Chairman and President of Philanthropy Project), Mary Wong (President of Office Depot Foundation), Singer Cody Simpson and others will be in attendance. On March 23, Zach began a nearly six-month “March Across America,” traveling by foot 2,500 miles from Tampa to Los Angeles to raise awareness for homeless children in America. Zach will finish his walk with local supporters who will meet at Virginia Avenue Park to walk to the Santa Monica Pier, where he will participate in a press conference.
