North Park Music Thing – San Diego
Registration is open to attend the North Park Music Thing – San Diego Music & Media Conference, which takes place August 13-14, 2010 at the historic Lafayette Hotel. Conference registrants will learn about the music business during panel discussions, workshops and demo review sessions.
Keynote speaker is Kim Fowley, who managed the all-girl band, The Runaways, in the 1970s, and who’s currently a regular DJ on Sirius XM satellite radio. Each night following the workshops, NPMT will showcase nearly 100 musical acts from the Southwestern United States, at 14 San Diego-area venues.
