Produce your merch elsewhere
When you’re on tour it’s not just about saving money; it’s also about making some extra cash, and selling merchandise is the perfect way to do so. Invest in different color shirts with different prints; it will be worth it. Have your merchandise produced in whatever country you plan to tour and have it delivered to the first venue you play; it’s usually cheaper that way and you won’t have to pay for extra luggage at the airport.
