Paste Releases Songs For Haiti
Paste magazine recently launched “Songs For Haiti” (http://songsforhaiti.org/), a relief effort to aid the struggling people of Haiti. The website allows visitors to donate a select amount of funds to help those in Haiti—and in return will receive a vault of mp3’s to choose from. Artists on the download list include Ludacris, Of Montreal, Andrew Bird, Hanson, Low Anthem, Umphrey’s McGee, Switchfoot, Derek Webb and over 200 more.
One hundred percent of the money contributed through the Paste site will be divided equally among three active charities in Haiti: The Red Cross, Wyclef Jean’s Yele Haiti Earthquake Fund and Doctors Without Borders.
