Buy the right blank CDs
Look at the color of the bottom of the disc. Transparent slightly green tinted discs have the highest permanence because the molecules are UV and heat resistant. Blue dyes can fade, and if your disc is fading, so is the demo you gave to that WMG big wig last week.
