Forty-Track Compilation to Help Save the Planet

1% for the Planet: The Music, Vol. 1, was released Jan. 5, 2010. More than 40 artists, including Jack Johnson, Brandi Carlile, Jackson Browne and Angilique Kidjo, donated exclusive songs to produce a digital album dedicated to supporting the environment. Many of the participating artists are themselves members of 1% For the Planet—a company that allows business owners to donate 1% of their total earnings to help various charities and organizations that fight the fight to make our planet a healthier one.
