Full-Ride Scholarship Competition Launched
To help aspiring musicians who are ready to pursue their education, but unfortunately lack economic means, Musicians Institute has announced “Full Ride,” a nationwide scholarship competition. Students and potential students are invited to submit recordings via the contest’s website. After preliminary screening is complete, finalists will be flown by MI to Hollywood where they will perform live in the school’s main Concert Hall before a panel of top industry professionals. The grand prize winner will receive a full tuition scholarship to MI beginning in Spring 2010, as well as up to $10,000 in living expenses. The first and second runners-up will receive full and partial tuition scholarships, respectively. See http//fullride.mi.edu.
